Taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris: Cost in 2026 vs Fixed-Price Private Transfer
What a Paris taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris really costs, how the fare is worked out, and when a pre-booked private chauffeur (VTC) at a fixed price makes more sense.
The Short Answer
How Much Is a Taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris?
A Paris taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris typically costs 90€ to 150€ on the meter, and can cost more when traffic is heavy. The drive is about 50 km and takes roughly 45 to 70 minutes.
Our alternative is a pre-booked private transfer with a licensed chauffeur (VTC), at a price fixed before you travel: 85€ for a Sedan (up to 3 passengers), 100€ for an Economy Van (up to 8) or 110€ for a Van Premium (up to 7) — per vehicle, tolls included. How a Taxi Fare Is Worked Out on This Route
Paris taxis have regulated flat fares from CDG — 56€ to the Right Bank and 65€ to the Left Bank — but only for journeys into Paris itself. Disneyland Paris is outside the city, so the taxi runs on the meter and the final fare depends on distance and time spent on the road. On a clear motorway the meter stays near the bottom of the range; on a bad day into Marne-la-Vallée, traffic adds real money to the total. You only find out the exact price when you arrive.
The 2026 national taxi tariff order sets the maximum rates: a pick-up charge of up to 4.48€, up to 1.30€ per kilometre and up to 42.15€ per hour when the taxi is slow or stopped in traffic. On top of that come supplements: 4€ for an immediate booking, 7€ for an advance booking, and 5.50€ per passenger from the 5th.
A private transfer works the other way round: the price is agreed when you book and stays the same whatever the traffic, whatever time you land, with no night surcharge.

To Be Fair
When a Taxi Is Still a Good Choice
A taxi has one big advantage: there is nothing to book. Paris taxis wait at the official ranks outside the terminals, so if your plans change at the last minute, your flight is diverted or you simply did not arrange anything in advance, a taxi gets you on the road right away.
It also suits a traveller on their own or a couple with light luggage who do not need a child seat and are happy to accept a variable fare in exchange for flexibility.
Planning Ahead
When a Fixed-Price Private Transfer Makes More Sense
Families with young children: free infant, toddler and booster seats on request, instead of hoping one turns up at the rank. Parents with a baby can read our guide to CDG to Disneyland Paris with a baby.
Groups of 3 or more: one fixed price per vehicle, with vans for up to 8 passengers and a minibus on request for larger groups.
Late or delayed flights: we track your flight and the driver waits at no extra cost, 24/7, with no night surcharge.
Busy arrival times: no taxi queue — your driver meets you, helps with your luggage and walks you straight to the car, where complimentary bottled water is waiting.
Anyone who wants price certainty: the amount is agreed before you fly, tolls included, and paid on arrival.
At the Airport
Finding Official Taxis at CDG — and Avoiding Fake Ones
Official taxis wait only at the taxi ranks at the exit of each terminal (T1, T2 and T3): after baggage reclaim, follow the "Taxis" signs to the official queue, where airport staff direct you to the next car. An official Paris taxi has an illuminated "TAXI" sign on the roof, with a green light when it is free. Decline any driver who approaches you inside the terminal offering a ride — authorised taxis never do that.
Taxis and private hire vehicles pick up in the same area, but a taxi does not come to meet you. When many flights or trains arrive at the same time, the taxi queue gets long — in our experience, the wait can reach 30 to 45 minutes before you get a car. With a pre-booked private transfer, you look for one thing only: your driver at the arrivals exit, holding a board with your name, who helps with your luggage and takes you straight to the car.
Taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris — FAQ
How Much Is a Taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris?
–A Paris taxi on this route runs on the meter. In our comparison it typically costs between 90€ and 150€, and it can be more in heavy traffic. Our private transfer is a fixed price agreed in advance: 85€ for a Sedan, 100€ for an Economy Van or 110€ for a Van Premium.
Is There a Flat Taxi Fare from CDG to Disneyland Paris?
+No. The regulated flat taxi fares from CDG (56€ to the Right Bank, 65€ to the Left Bank) only cover journeys between the airport and Paris itself. Disneyland Paris is outside Paris, so the taxi runs on the meter. If you want a price fixed before you land, a pre-booked private transfer gives you that.
Is Uber Cheaper Than a Taxi?
+In our comparison, taxis and Uber fall in the same range on this route, typically 90€ to 150€. Uber shows a price in the app before you ride, but it changes with demand, waiting time is charged, and there is no driver waiting for you with a name board.
Do Taxis Have Child Seats?
+Not usually. French road law exempts taxis from the child car seat requirement, so you cannot count on finding one at the rank. With our private transfer, infant, child and booster seats are free on request.
Can I Pre-Book?
+Yes — our private transfer is booked online in advance, with nothing to pay in advance and free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Taxis at the airport rank need no booking at all, which is their main advantage.
How Long Does the Drive Take?
+About 45 to 70 minutes on the road by taxi in our comparison, plus any time in the taxi queue, and 40 to 60 minutes for our direct private transfer, for a distance of about 50 km — longer at rush hour.
Is Your Service a Taxi?
+No. We are a licensed VTC (private chauffeur) operator approved by the French Ministry of Transport. Your journey is pre-booked at a fixed price per vehicle — there is no meter.
Can I Get a Taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Eurodisney?
+Yes — Eurodisney is the former name of Disneyland Paris, and Paris taxis serve it from the official ranks at CDG. If you prefer a fixed price and a driver waiting for you inside the arrivals area, book a private transfer instead.
